What exactly is a Pet Concierge?
A Pet Concierge is a verified professional on the wuffle platform who transports pets. We deliberately chose this name over "transporter" or "driver" because it reflects the level of care and professionalism we expect. Every Pet Concierge is identity-verified, insurance-confirmed, vehicle-inspected, and personally approved.
How is this different from CitizenShipper?
On CitizenShipper, you pay $39.99/month for the privilege of bidding against other transporters on every job. The cheapest bid usually wins. wuffle flips this: you post your routes, set your own prices, and pet owners come to you. No bidding. No subscription. You only pay commission when you earn — and founding members keep 100% for 6 months.
What does "0% commission for 6 months" mean exactly?
For the first 6 months after your application is approved, you keep every dollar of every booking. No commission to wuffle at all. After that, founding members get Pro access free through month 12 (6% commission), then $49/month for life. Everyone who joins after launch pays $99/month for Pro.
What is a Route Seat vs. a Private Journey?
A Route Seat is the standard booking — a pet travels on your scheduled run alongside other pets. A Private Journey is premium solo transport — one vehicle, one pet, one dedicated Pet Concierge. Private Journeys command higher prices and are exclusively available to Pro-tier members.
What is a Care Check?
Care Check is wuffle's five-point safety protocol that you perform at every pickup, rest stop, and handoff: leash protocol (pet secured any time the vehicle door opens), vehicle security (doors, windows, and cargo areas checked during transport), escape prevention (managing transitions carefully), emergency vet lookup (nearest emergency vet pre-identified along your route), and phone accessibility (owner can always reach you). Care Check is documented, not assumed — and it's a core differentiator that earns owner trust.
How does the referral program work?
You get a unique referral code. When someone you refer joins wuffle and completes bookings, you earn 1% of the total booking value on every booking they complete — forever. Not 1% of wuffle's commission, 1% of the full booking price. Capped at 50 referred concierges. Paid monthly via Stripe.
Do I need a CDL or USDA license?
Pet transport does not require a CDL. USDA licensing requirements vary by state and the type of animals you transport. If you have a USDA license, it becomes a verified credential on your wuffle profile — a trust signal that helps you win more bookings.
When does the platform launch?
We're currently in our founding phase — recruiting the first 50 Founding Pet Concierges before opening to pet owners. The app is in active development with a targeted launch in the coming months. Founding members will be the first to get access with their 0% commission already active.
What's the application process?
Apply through our form (takes 5 minutes). Every application is reviewed personally by Austin, the founder, within 48 hours. If approved, you'll complete identity verification, a 15-minute video call with Austin, and Stripe payment setup. Then you're in — with your 6-month 0% commission window already active.
